Hell Between My Teeth, Phantom in My Heart, and Never-Ending Hum
Over two decades, Raed Yassin has meticulously explored personal narratives and collective history through the lens of consumer culture and mass production. His inaugural exhibition in his home country marks a seminal moment, showcasing fourteen bodies of works developed over the last four years, including seven new commissions spanning film, sound, sculpture, photography, and installation.

Themes of failure, death, loss, memory, and disappearance saturate Yassin's haunting exploration, prompting viewers to confront existential questions amidst heightened violence and instability. Yassin's exploration of memory and the normalization of violence challenges conventional narratives, leading us to reassess how we remember. Through humor and engagement with life's absurdities, he invites us to inhabit our dystopian reality with purpose and intentionality despite its pervasive presence.
