The brightly coloured and shiny screen surfaces reveal a fragmented reality through a distorted hyper-saturated reflection of the self. The color choice of these works is bright, attractive and highly pigmented with reference to digitalized shades of magenta, yellow, orange, green and blue layered with a hologram reflective surface. The artists believe that every era has its own palette which highlights that certain generation or time in history.
Whereas :mentalKLINK works are a study of the state of human beings in the 21st century through depicting how the current influx of super capitalist surroundings prioritize attraction through marketing and narcissism which is constantly and endlessness present through our excessive consumption of screens and the phenomena of the mirror selfie. As the works are only fully viewed until the viewers see themselves and are confronted with their own distorted and glistening image as part of the artwork. Manipulating how one may perceive their external and even internal image as a result of this reflective visual noise.
