Five artists are brought together by LagoAlgo, whose works interact in a chronological trip that spans from the Prehistoric era to the Big History of today and the future. Abdelkader Benchamma (France, 1975), Simon Fujiwara (UK, 1982), Sabino Guisu (Mexico, 1986), Caleb Hahne Quintana (USA, 1993), and Guido van der Werve (Netherlands, 1977) are the five international artists whose separate but conceptually linked projects are organically brought together in Historia.
Abdelkader Benchamma presents Neither The Sky Nor The Earth, a site-specific installation created especially for LagoAlgo, for his first-ever exhibition in Mexico. This immersive piece, which immerses the viewer in the vocabulary of the French artist, illustrates history through the layers of myths and narratives that make up the globe.
