Hassan Sharif: I Am The Single Work Artist: Malmö Konsthall, Sweden

The second European iteration of Hassan Sharif: I Am The Single Work Artist at Malmö Konsthall, Sweden, travels from Sharjah Art Foundation (2018) and the KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin (2020). The exhibition includes just over 150 pieces, which range from early satirical cartoons and documentation of the performances in the Hatta desert to sculptural works that were produced in the last year of his life. The emphasis in the exhibition is on sculptures and objects. The exhibition will be on view at the musée d’art moderne et contemporain (MAMC), Saint-Étienne, in spring 2021.
