As part of lille3000, Abdelkader Benchamma and :mentalKLINIK were included in Eldorama that took place at Tripostal, conceptually unfolding the great story of Eldorado through a myriad of contemporary works of art borrowed from the four corners of the globe, with more than 40 artists on display. The exhibition staged the universal adventure of these allegories by demonstrating the impactful power of the uprooting and displacement of individuals and entire peoples whilst investigating these journeys developing into a narrative that is both dynamic and epic, yet wild and violent, brought to life by the artist’s critical viewpoints on the promises of our contemporary world.
