Hassan Sharif's Pouches (2016) is currently one of the 37 works by 19 artists and groups, selected by the Asia-Pacific Art team of the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane, Australia, under the direction of Zara Stanhope. The exhibition explores an open curatorial perspective, not thematically directed and presents a diverse contemporary look that recognizes both their original cultures, with the aim of increasing awareness and understanding of the cultural dynamics of the region.
