Divecha's film 'Dohrana' (2021) explores longing, migration, hunger and farmers’ rights through Urdu poetry. Filmed at landscaping sites in the UAE, 'Dohrana' emerged from the artist's ongoing collaboration with Sharjah’s municipal gardeners.
This will be shown as part of "On Foraging: Food Knowledge and Environmental Imaginaries in the UAE's Landscape", curated by Dima Srouji, Faysal Tabbarah, and Meitha Almazrooei.
