Vikram Divecha's Wall House (2022) in "ICON. ICONIC." as part of "Art Here" at Louvre Abu Dhabi for the Richard Mille Art Prize, curated by Reem Fadda.
Divecha's Wall House is envisioned as a centre encasing hundreds of walls and partial facade sections extracted from buildings slated for demolition in the UAE, as well as from neighborhoods across the globe. The work proposes an urgent ‘archiving of the present’ to transform urban refuse into an alternative, inclusive and diverse cultural history.
