Hassan Sharif, Man and Mountain No. 3, 2009
Hassan Sharif and Mohammed Kazem are featured in the Dubai Collection's Art Dubai 2024 exhibition entitled Encounters, which is curated by Alia Zaal Lootah. The exhibition was unveiled at Art Dubai on February 28, and will be on view until March 3, 2024.
Encounters will present a cross-generational lineup of Emirati artists in a show featuring twenty-six artworks, all drawn from Dubai Collection, which is the city’s first institutional collection of modern and contemporary art launched by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), in partnership with Art Dubai Group and patrons who support the initiative through an innovative loan system.
Mohammed Kazem and Hassan Sharif have six works featured between them, on loan to the Dubai Collection from private collectors.
