We are pleased to announce Zoulikha Bouabdellah's third solo show at Sabrina Amrani gallery. In Objets de désir, Bouabdellah explores the space between the desire to possess and the object of desire itself. The object of desire does not exist in itself, but is its inaccessibility that gives value to it. The aura vanishes in the moment the object of desire is accessed, the platonic love is metabolised into a body, the fetish is emptied of meaning.
